Dave LaRock is also a Republican leader, businessman, and former state legislator (2014–2024) dedicated to protecting families, defending freedom, and restoring prosperity in Virginia. 
He led the fight for Parental Rights, School Choice, and Public Safety, championing Sage’s Law to keep parents informed. A strong supporter of law enforcement, he has worked to secure borders, combat crime, and stop Fentanyl.

If you ask Dave LaRock what he’s most proud of, he won’t start by telling you about his years in public service, his successful business, or even the battles he’s fought for conservative values—battles that made him the target of a cancel campaigns and Lawfare waged by the Democrats. He’ll tell you about his wife, Joanne, their seven kids, and their twenty (yes, twenty!) grandkids—because family is everything to him.
Oh, and he might also mention his two pet cows, Chubby and Bubba—who are completely unaware that they are not, in fact, grandchild 21 and 22. They have big personalities and even bigger appetites!

For over 40 years, Dave and Joanne have built a life rooted in faith, hard work, and love for Virginia. They homeschooled their kids before it was popular, because they believe parents—not the government—should be in charge of their children’s education. They’re proud members of Cornerstone Chapel, where their faith continues to guide them.

Dave isn’t just a family man—he’s a fighter and a problem solver. As a small business owner, he’s balanced budgets, cut through red tape, and fixed what’s broken—skills that are sorely missing in government today. In the Virginia House of Delegates, he fought to lower taxes, protect parental rights, and defend the Constitution—even when the political establishment tried to shut him down.
